You’ll need to print it out and sign it and then send it to Leila’s Shop, 17 Calvert Avenue, London E2 7JP or drop it in if you are passing. Membership is free, but donations are very much appreciated.
Come and volunteer. We garden on Sunday afternoons and plant twice a year. If youd like to find out more, contact the Friends’ Gardening Co-Ordinator, Andy on 07903 397431.
When we put on events, we need a team of at least ten volunteers to come and set up the site, work as stewards, help people across the road, show newcomers how to play carrom (for the Carrom Day), care for the donkey (for the Sharing Picnic) and generally act as gofers. It is great training in event management, a very friendly activity and an excellent way to be involved in this community. You even get to wear a day-glo waistcoat!.
