October 18, 2008

‘Bagaan’ (Garden) went public last week when it was officially launched by Jack Lohman, the director of the Museum of London. See what the BBC had to say about it.

He was so struck by the quality of this magical wall hanging that celebrates Arnold Circus – its trees, birds and surroundings – that he asked if it could go to his Museum of London. So Arnold Circus will find its place in the ongoing story of London, thanks to the talents of 16 local women. if you want to see it before then, take a trip to Calvert Avenue, next to Arnold Circus, where it will be on display in the window of Soboye Soong, at no.13.
