Google Street View Denied Access to Sharing Picnic

Google Street View Denied Access to Sharing Picnic, originally uploaded by friendsofarnoldcircus.

Google’s new Street View service may have photographed most parts of the UK, but we barred Google’s roving camera car from the annual sharing picnic.

We closed the road to traffic for the annual Sharing Picnic on the day that Google tried to film the area. The images on Google Street View show a barricade preventing the camera car from entering the circus with festivities and donkey rides fully documented by the prying cameras.

The good news is that we’re holding the event again this year on 25 July. Mark it in your diary.

We’re hoping to fundraise £1,000 so they can close the road surrounding the circus for the day of the picnic. Any donations are gratefully received click the donate button below to make a contribution.
