A Day to Remember

July 27, 2009
by

Such a day yesterday, at the Picnic! A range of delights – Pavilion Brass Band bringing the bandstand back to its original life, carrom players battling it out for the annual silver cup; the chance to enter the Draw Me booth and come out with a portrait, to handle some of the poignant objects dug up by the Museum of London in their recent excavation on the Circus, to sample the range of food given for free on the groaning Sharing Table, to get on your bike, and even to have the pleasure of going back to childhood and drawing on the pavement!

We’d love to see your photos from the Picnic. Send them to us by emailing to photos@foac.org.uk

Congratulations and thanks for a great picnic. The circus was teeming with community spirit – very inspiring. Well done.
